
Schratzmännele is a 1,045 m high peak located in the Vosges mountains of France. The area is steeped in history, particularly related to World War I, where it was a site of intense battles between the German and French armies. The site is related to the Battle of the Lingekopf (20 July – 15 October 1915). Today, the landscape is still marked by relics from the war, such as trenches and bunkers.
