Ring of Brodgar
The Ring of Brodgar is a Neolithic henge with a stone circle in Orkney, Scotland. The circle was constructed between 3000 BCE and 2500 BCE. The henge, a ring-shaped earthwork bank, is an almost perfect circle and has a diameter of 104 meters. It has two entrances on the north-west and south-east sides. There are traces of 60 stones, but 27 remain today. It is uncertain if the ring was ever completed with all stones. The height of the stones varies from 2.1 to 4.7 meters.
