Siddhi Laxmi, Bhaktapur, Nepal

Siddhi Laxmi, also known as Lohan Dega, is a temple on Durbar Square in Bhaktapur. The temple pays homage to Siddhi Lakshmi, the patron deity of the Malla Kings. This goddess was believed to possess the power to dispel evil spirits and negative forces, serving as a protective figure. Representing a manifestation of the fierce goddess Durga, the temple features several bas-reliefs of Durga adorning its entrance and sides.
