Kisimul Castle is a medieval castle located on a small island off Castlebay, Barra, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The castle can only be reached by boat and gets its name from the Norse ciosamul, meaning "castle island". The earliest documentary record of the castle dates from the 16th century. Kisimul Castle was abandoned in 1838.
