The Glen Scotia Distillery was established in 1832 and is one of the few remaining distilleries in Campbeltown, a region once celebrated as the "Whisky Capital of the World". Despite the decline of whisky production in the area and various owners, Glen Scotia survided and has preserved much of its original 19th-century architecture.
