The megaliths of Saint-Just in Brittany are a collection of Neolithic structures. The site includes a variety of megalithic monuments such as alignments, dolmens and menhirs, making it one of the most significant megalithic sites in Brittany. The site dates back to around 4,500 BCE .
Les Demoiselles Piquées, also known as Les Roches Piquées, are an alignment consisting of two standing menhirs. Two other stones lie on the ground. All the stones are crystalline white quartz, which gives the monument a striking appearance. According to a local legend, the two menhirs are two young girls who were punished for dancing on the moor on a Sunday instead of going to church .
