Batterie de Saint-Agnant, also called Batterie Amey, was constructed between 1878 and 1880. The battery was an extension to the nearby Fort de Liouville in the Meuse department of France. The triangular shaped fortification was equipped with guns and machine guns. Due to its size, the fortification is more similar to a fort than a battery.

Batterie de Saint-Agnant was part of the defensive line known as the Rideau des Hauts de Meuse which included several forts and batteries between the strongholds of Toul and Verdun. This line aimed to protect strategic passages and control key routes in the region.
The battery endured severe bombardment during World War I. Today, it is a dangerous ruin and access to the buildings is prohibited.
